Firstly Id like to ask if these temps are ok, i use speed fan and im woryd about this core temp, i am thinking that its wrong but i need advice thx,

or in speed fan it says chipset Ali M1653 not sure if this is what u mean

my BIOS is telling me that my CPU is 34C and my MB is 33C so i suppose the bios is correct, so as my temps are ok as far as i know can i over clock my machine?
as i said i have a
AMD Athlon 3000+ 64Bit 2.0Ghz with Asrock K8 Combo-z motherboard, ive increased the voltage to 1.55V before but this only increase to 2.01Ghz and extra 11 Mghz :( ive also disabled Cool 'n' Quite.
Thx for adive n help :D

Chipset is not the videocard, it's the IDE/SATA controller and southbridge. If it's a Nforce they do run that hot.

As for overclocking, as you increase CPU speed you need to drop memory otherwise you run the memory faster than recommended speeds.

i get confused when it comes to south n north bridge, i know that north contrs cpu mem and gfx signals or summit and south bridge ide sata are these underneath the heatsink on the mb?? (obv the 1 wit fan is cpu lol)
also im complete noob with overclocking and i understand small parts of it is there a tutorial to overclock the 3000+? so i can understand fully :p
thx
