Would a:
Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 X 2GB) DDR2 8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX8500D2K2/4G)

be able to function alongside a pair of

2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500C5 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

On the same motherboard?

What is the general rule conrning mountling multiple RAMs pairs together?

The Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 X 2GB) DDR2 8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX8500D2K2/4G

has a Vdd: 1.8V ± 0.1V, Vddq: 1.8V ± 0.1V power supply

The Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AA106A)

has a - Voltage: 2.0V power supply

Will they be compatible?

I know I should not bump my own post, but the deal only lasts till tomorrow, and my decision on whether to get one or two The Kingston HyperX 4GB hinges on whether the old unit is compatible.

Despite the fact they use differrent voltages (1.8V and 2V) will the two rams be compatible?

they will work, but 2v would have to be put through both, this should be fine most ram takes up to 2.2 (ddr2 anyway) without any issues, if for some strange reaosn they dont work then at least uve gained 2 gig of ram, worth it anyway in my opinion
