hi pasty, im doing bit of swapping about, going to sell my old i7 x58 system and do a dual build in a mini xl case i bought last year with 50% off. I have a mini ITX board with Intel Core 2 Quad with a 64gb SSD No GPU. want to pair with a kabylake matx B250 board and i3 CPU with a few HDDS and a NVIDIA quadro cant remember the model but i posted it before .. will the PSU i bought a while back be up to it? listed it below

There are plenty of other knowledgeable people on here when it comes to psu's and most of them probably know more than I do.

To be honest I am not sure. If it was just the Kabylake i3 with the quadro I would have said it will be fine. I just found a Nvidia power consumption pdf for their Quadro cards from July 2015 and at that time their most power hungry card was the M6000 at 250w. One would assume that any cards released since then would be more power efficient. It's this second system that makes me question things. Which Core2Quad is it? Will it be overclocked or running at stock? Which model is the Quadro?

Option 3 sounds best to me. :D:D:D The 550w is more than enough for your main pc (if it's the one in your siggy). Even with heavy overclocking you will still have over 200w of spare headroom.

I wish they would fix the BBCode again. This line of text is the problem as it inserts a double https: before the www.overclockers.co.uk highlighted here:- https:https://img.overclockers.co.uk/media/image/thumbnail/CA012EA_89285_105x105.jpg. Remove one of the https: and you get:-
