A Question for PC + Console Gamers

Since a majority of people I know play on XB360, i decided to pick one up to join in on the fun and also be able to play some SP games while away from the PC.

One problem, PC will always be where I play my main games at, but I feel like playing games on the XB360 as well. Achievements and comparing leaderboards to each other seems appealing, but how do you all deal with two different saves on both platforms? Like having gone through a game 70% of the way through on PC but only being 20% of the way through on the XB. Does this not drive anyone insane?

That's what I thought. But having to stop playing a game mid way through for months or just picking it up for XB is extremely annoying.
Well, XB and GTA V should be here tomorrow. Atleast I can finally play that!

Yeah I wouldn't really ever play the same game on both systems.

Not actually touched my Xbox 360 since GTA V came out. I actually decided to stop playing that game about halfway through because although it looked really good considering the console was 8 years old at the time, I would rather play it on PC in future at 1080p, 60fps etc.

But that's an assumption that it will come out on PC.

I did complete Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City on Xbox 360 and then later buy and complete them on PC as well though.

I generally only go for very consoley games on console- I'm thinking Uncharted series, Last of Us, GoW (although I think its crap), Forza, Saints Row 1, Lego Harry Potter...

The rest of my gaming goes (i.e. normal multiplatform games like GTA IV, Tomb Raider, Mass Effect series) happens on my PC with a controller so I dont have conficting saves / progress

How much must you be costing yourself double buying a load of games? Surely if you're going to skip between platforms, the benefit is getting to play different types of games?

Well valid point. But buying it twice is allowing me to get twice the play time in, since when I'm away from the PC, i can switch to the console.

Going form a pc gaming rig to a 360 in this day and age seams pointless, should got a ps4 or xbox one

Wouldn't you be better with a 'remote play' system, so you can continue where you left off but playing via Steam home streaming for instance? Or Nvidia Shield?
