Hi Guys, apologies for the long winded title, but I have a question!

I currently have a PC with a Nvidia 8600gt silent GFX card, i have a 24" lcd rigged up to it and set up as my primary screen (Via DVI), and then I have my Toshiba 42" rigged upto it via a DVI to HDMI connector, now my problem is that Id like to have the Tosh as the secondary screen via the DualView setting, but everytime I turn the tosh off, the PC seems to forget the settings, so everytime i want to use mediaportal, I have to go into display properties and set it all up as Dual View again:mad: the NVIDIA forums seem to suggest this is a quirk of the cards, but im not 100% sure.

I guess my question is, for those of you that run HTPC's what cards are you using, or can anyone reccomend another passive GFX card to try, are ATI any better for HTPC stuff?

I have an ATi 4850 and i have a similar problem. The PC resets the graphics settings when i turn the TV off.
My old 8800GTS320 which should use the same drivers you're using, never had that problem.

What I've done is just set a profile and set a shortcut to that profile so at least i can change it back quicker. Still trying to find a more permanent solution.
