I was thinking about not having my system connected to the internet, too many distractions (not (just) those distractions :o) when I'm trying to get work done.

I was looking to get a small, relatively inexpensive device I could use to handle browsing, emailing and Skype and was considering the OcUK Ultima 7" IPS 8GB, but I was wondering how it might handle something like my Corsair Vengeance 1500 headset, if I used a mini-usb adapter would it recognize them even just as a generic USB headset to make them usable, and would it have the throughput when on the charger from the mini-usb port to power them?

I'm quite ignorant regarding tablets, I assume that could run Skype? Does anyone have any suggestion for a more preferable tablet at the same price point?

Any suggestions welcome, cheers.

Its a USB powered headset!! Ha! Thought it was an USB external sound card, sorry! It may apply the same though? Since I presume it will have some sort of audio decoder inside the headset.

Yes you are right it does have its own decoder, thanks for the link, I need to have a poke around a familiarize myself with the ins and outs of tablet PCs so I'll take a look.

Cheers for the feedback.

No problem :) Looks like a complete mine field out there though regarding USB audio devices! Good luck... I have given up reading, sorry :p
