A quick bit of feedback on these edits please

The other night I went down to my local with my camera to watch a group of 5 random guys have a jam session (they were amazing) and the owner has asked me for some of the pictures so I am experimenting with a few very quick different edits. I am still new to editing pictures hence these being simple.

The black and white edit is good but I would crop a bit from the left hand side and also clone out the silver tubing at the left.
 
Cheers guys. So far out of everyone I have asked, the scores are even between the 3 piictures aha.

I know what you mean about the left hand side, i really wish I had taken the photo to the right a bit more.

Oh and if anyone is interested, this was shot with a D90 using the Nikon 70-300mm & SB 600 flash :)

edit 1 for me, #2 looks like a typical "ooo look at me I am arty" instagram photo.

Yes the tubing isn't great, but it's a 5 min fix in photoshop to remove it without having to crop.

Yeah I thought the same, instagram has ruined photos like that now that everyone can take them with their mobiles.

I have paint.net so i'll try and work out how to get rid of it aha.
