Apologies for the new thread as I want to avoid spoilers.

Saw the trailer for ME3 and I want it. Need to play ME2 first though.

So which format is it best on....Xbox, PS3 or PC?

Buying it within the hour.

Cheers.

Cheaper on PC, very few bugs from my experience. Needs Origin but iirc you already have BF3 so thats ok. Graphics offer very little difference though imo. actually 2 doesn't need origin, but 3 does

Could be the clincher- No controller support on PC.

I have played it on both Pc and 360 and there is very little difference beyond controls(kb/m vs Controller)

EDIT- actually now I think of it, the higher framerates in the PC version really did make a difference to me.

Cheers. I'm a bit reluctant over the PC version at the mo because I have some faulty parts with OcUK and I'm currently putting up with a dual core X2 rather than the i5 and I wanted to play it this week. If its a lot better on PC then I'll wait.

tbh, it isn't. It is only the controls imo, and a better user interface which is designed for kb/m which is very different to the console versions.. Graphics are not significantly better from my experience, it is only higher framerates that I noticed as on the 360 it would struggle occasionally.

Bare in mind, that you will want to play them all on the same format so that you can use your savegame.

Personally, I would get it on PC though.

I finished ME1 on Xbox so best on that then?

You can import that save for ME2 and then your ME2 save for ME3 if you like and your choices will carry over so it might be best.

2 and 3 are much more shooterish than 1, they are very similar to Gears of War with their cover systems, so I don't know if you would prefer controller or kb/m.

However, you can download and edit savegames for the PC version that will let you choose and edit every decision from ME1 if you don't want to play it again. You can basically find a game somewhere that has exactly the same choices that you made in ME1 to use in ME2.

Same here fancied playing ME3 but hadnt played me2 managed to get a ps3 used version with the cerberus code unused :)
Very good graphics. Started as a soldier but i noticed you can change careers if u need to v handy that. Not sure which class is best.

Purchased. Could only grab the PS3 version so I'm now running through that version :D

Not fussed about carrying my character over as I can't remember it anyway :)

Watched a quick 5 minute summary of ME1 on Youtube and I'm good to go!
