If a prime stable system has an FSB of X and a multipler Y gives a Cpu Speed of Z @ CpuVoltage V

Qu 1. Is V purely a function of Z or can the makup of Z (X+Y) affect V.
ie could 400x6 require a more/less V than than 266x9

Qu 2. if a stable system has a cpu voltage of V and all other settings S.
would increasing the multipler Y need anything more than more V.
ie. is cpuvoltage the only element that needs increasing when you only increease the multipler.
thanks

1 - In theory V is purely a function of Z, but in reality it's often slightly different. Plus chipset voltages will often be needed to be adjusted for the higher FSB.

2 - Again in theory yes V will only be needed to be adjusted. But again chipset voltages may need to be adjusted by a small amount, depending on the quality of the motherboard.
