I've noticed quite a few people are posting links from AT and using the whole URL - by doing this, you're revealing your postcode and annoyingly it changes the default postcode for me when searching for cars.

All you need to post is
Code:
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/*advertnumber*

I guess not everyone is bothered about their postcode but I thought I'd point it out anyway.

And here's another Autotrade URL trick.

When sorting your results, notice you only have crappy sorts Distance, Price Low and Price High? Do the search and locate:
Code:
/sort/pricedesc
Or equivalent in the URL.
Replace with
Code:
sort/datedesc/
or
Code:
sort/dateasc/
et voila! Your search results are now sorted by the date added to the site. Easy to keep track of new cars going on the market!

Interestingly the options now appear in the dropdown (sometimes!).

I hope this isn't some weird Firefox bug or something and I look an idiot!
