Decided to do a quick tweak of my rig - wanted to have a tidier look inside and wanted an overall black colour scheme.

So first thing was to swap out my MSI P67A-GD65 (brown PCB + blue detail and slots) for a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 (black PCB + black slots / gunmetal heatsinks):

I also ordered some BitFenix black braided cables:

Had some problems with the PCI-E cables - the six pin connectors for the video card required A LOT of force to fit. Still, looked pretty good.

Anyway - here's my rig before:

Other than the mobo, hardware is pretty much as before. I had a 120GB OCZ Agility in before which is now going in a laptop so I've gone back to my 300GB Velociraptor. Boot drive is a Crucial C300 64GB and main games drive is a Crucial C300 128GB.

I also moved my intake fan (Silverstone 140mm Air Penetrator) to the bottom intake position.

Thanks for looking!

Well, that was the idea but haven't done any testing yet apart from a quick Intel Burn Test (CPU maxing out at 58C on the maximum stress test - 4.2GHz). I'll be looking at the GPU temps later as I have done a re-install so no games installed yet.
