Needing a PSU for media center to run on

Athlon 64x2 4800
Radeon 1900XTX
3 HDD's

I think it was a 600w that was built with it originally, but is very very noisy, can someone spec me a quiet PSU?

cheers

i think the 520W cosair should be enough, im running a x1900xt, 3800x2, 3hdd and 1 dvd-rw plus some other things with one

cheers, im running a corsair 620w in my main rig and its silent (pretty much) and would be pretty happy to get another corsair, just wanted to check that i hadnt won the lottery and got the only quiet corsair, i'll go with that then hopefully the 500w version shoulf be ok for that spec..

Yes the 520W Corsair will do the job very nicely, easily one of the quietest power supplys on the market, I have heard that the newer corsair models such as the 450w psu are more value oriented - so not quite as quiet.
Only problem with these PSU's are in the 5 year guarantee - which sounds good on paper until you realise if it breaks down after the initial 1yr you have to send the PSU to the States to get a replacement.

Seasonic S12, ive never ever in a whole year heard my psu make any noise. infact, when i first got it i was sure the fan was broken. it isnt:p
