A Random Non-Wii/X360/PS3 Thread

Hey guys,

With the Wii and PS3 recently launching, and a mate letting me play on his Wii a bit, I found myself fighting the urge to dig out my Xbox (original, not 360.) I've been a hard core PC gamer for a few years now, but I gave in to temptation and even bought myself a shedload of new games.

Can't stop playing Fable and San Andreas, I forgot how good this console actually is.

Even thinking of getting hold of a Dreamcast as I miss that thing, and I know I have a Megadrive around here somewhere.

People not interested in the Wii, X360 and PS3 feel free to chat random nonsense in here. This forum is like a broken record recently.

I started playing my ps2 and megadrive a while back, completed sonic 3 in a stupidly short time, and spyro!

God how much fun spyro is, but I remmebered the levels being HUGE, and found you could run straight and get to the end in about 4 seconds -.-
And that little egg carrying guy *ner ner nanerrr nerr* GRAH. But again, after a few hours I'd done 90% of the game, it was worth it though!

Anyway, old consoles still have the gameplay and even the graphics in some cases. AMAZING amount of fun!

I still have my Xbox, can't bare to part with it!

Going to town later to see if I can find Star Wars: KOTOR second hand.

I did have a Dreamcast, N64, PSone and a GameCube with games and accessories but I traded them all in, got £108 and got a DS lite with game. I never played them, and they were all purchased cheaper second hand so I was quite chuffed.

But yeah, I'm not getting rid of the Xbox untill it breaks/melts. I still have FF7 (black version) for Playstation too, even though I don't have the console to play it on. Couldn't bare to part with it!

Yep. ive started using my PS2 recently, even though i aint touched it in 6 months. Starting to be tempted to buy a 360 now.

sold my xbox with all the games for 80 notes. wish i hadnt as i used to love forza motorsport specially since you could use your own soundtracks

I picked up a crateful of amiga's and games recently (a500+, 2x a600s, a1200, accessories, original philips monitor and tons of mint, original, boxed games) for £40, cant beat the games for sheer addictiveness!
