Random SLI question..well scenario.

Card 1: 8800GTX @ Ultra clocks.
Card 2: 8800 Ultra

Would SLI work? Simple yes/no will suffice. My understanding is that the cards have to be EXACTLY the same so i'm pretty sure it wouldn't work but i'd like a confirmation. :)

It should work as the only difference is the core tranistors, which do nothin for performance, only that they are cooler.

It should work as it all it would do is foirce the second card to the first cards clocks but as hes overclocked it to Ultra speeds it should have no problem.

Though why wont you get a GTX as it is cheaper??
