A Real Challenge!!! Spec 2xPC for £300

Is it possible!!! basically these 2 machines just have run ms office, outlook express and internet explorer. thats it! o and play doom3 (kidding).

nothing outside the case need (altho case is need

).... no monitors, mice or keys or o/s

Please help me!! £150 for each machine, can it be done or there abouts

Raikiri's spec looks good.

He doesn't need DDR2 but if you can fit it into the budget then why not go for it.

Basically we have lee's machines totalling at £307.28 and Raikiri's at £319.88...

hmm i think i will go with Raikiris cos i can upgrade to conroes later on when these machines start to buckle... thanks to both of u for your efforts guys

My idea was buy one set of ram and use 256 in each... or get the 2x512mb geil value DDR2 for £60. saves a tenner

yep it does, I was more interested in the core duo support witht he E4200 coming out, should be cheap and lot faster if they wish to upgrade later on. Same goes for the PCI-e graphics slot.
