Hi guys my friend has a pretty low/mid spec pc and wants a new gpu for a max of 70 to play games like league of ledgends with med to high if poss settings i had a good look about and all i could find was an xfx hd 7750 either the 2gig ddr3 version or the 1gig ddr5 what would be better the ddr5? or any other suggestions? Things could have been easyer for me if he was willing to use ebay and get a 2nd hand one but he's had his fingers burned on that site once too many times so is unwilling to use it again.

The 7750 will cope with low settings and if you do go that route, a 1GB GDDR5 is the one to go for.
Here is a 7770 results and that is fine for medium to highish settings. If he doesn't want to buy second hand, maybe he should add a little more and go for that.
