A really dumb question about wiring an extra plug socket.

Swedish electrical regs are very strict and I'm not attempting this, roll eyes, but am I crazy in even worrying about this not being feasible.

I have a surface mounted 3 core wire running to an external set of plugs in an outbuilding.

I want to add another plug along the line to plug in a WiFi extender.

Can I simply cut the wire, connect the internals through the top ip44 grommet thing and do the same with the bottom half of cut wire in the bottom grommet thing. ? I know that's not rocket science.

Or is it more proper safer to cut the wire add a small junction box then run a very small wire over to the new socket.

Solution 1 is probably not advised but it's much less messy I literally just want the. 1 plug where it is, as little extra mounted furniture stuff as possible.

Help :p

Ok so the word I'm looking for is spur....

Thanks I'll read up in English first then take it to the Swedish rules.

Yep there's no way i can legally do this so must contact an electrician or rethink what i can actually do :/
Wish i trained as an electrician, wonder if theres any even classes that will qualify me at a basic level.

thanks for the help.
