I've had two mechanical keyboards that have lasted just about a year each. First it was the Zowie where the z key stopped working, now I have Qpad and it randomnly deletes anything I type. I thought these keyboards were supposed to be more rugged and last longer?

So are there any manufactures that have a bit more reliability and quality to them?

Gigabyte Osmium; built like a tank, weighs the same as a tank, got one for my WoW obsessed daughter about 18 months ago, so far its survived not one but two attempts to drown it in fizzy drinks. Sadly OcUK no longer seem to stock it.

I have just bought a WASD Mechanical keyboard with blues and it is quite simply stunning.
You can customise every key colour, etching, laser printing etc with WASD and they multiple options for switches and dampeners. Pricey, but check them out if you can
