Hi all,

I'm looking at returning to VR gaming, a few years ago I had a pretty decent racing sim setup with using the Oculus CV2.
But since then I've not kept track and there seems to be vastly more options available, tether free, better resolutions and generally a load more manufacturers, of which I have no idea which is worth it and what isn't.

My system specs are:
13700k @5.8
7900xtx
32gb DDR5 7200mhz

Play a mixture of things really, want to try it and see how things have progressed, I'd like to be able to really show off the abilities of vr to the fullest to friends and family, and have the best experience really.

What's regarded as the best headset available? I like the idea of being free of the cables, but not at the cost of IQ and features.

I've had a look at the Quest 3 which seems popular, but would love to hear some first hand experiences.

Thanks

Thanks for all the replies, really appreciate it, it seems the Q3 gets the thumbs up then! And that Very deal seems too good to pass up.

Is the 512gb one worth the extra?

Thanks buddy,

Got the Quest 3 in the end and very happy with it, not had a great deal of time to actually play some games.

Tempted my the saints and sinners game, I hear the first 1 is apparently better, Into the radius maybe, I had Onwards for my CV2 but I have to buy it again, tempted to give Pavlov a go instead.

Thanks Chris, I'm enjoying it I must day, tried Blades and Sorcery but it made me feel a bit sick, will come back to that when I've grow a bit more accustom to VR again.
Been playing Pavlov shack, Onward and Contractors which are great, yet to play Saints and Sinners but it's there ready to install.
