A router setting has 'broken' Google Nest and some of my Android apps

I've tried quite a few things already and I think I have narrowed it down to my router. It coincided with the recent clock change from GMT to BST. Kinda like the Millennium bug :D

On the router:

- I have rebooted the router
- reset router to factory settings, then reinstated the same SSID/password as before

On the phone:

- I got the phone to forget the SSID, then reconnect to it
- uninstalled/reinstalled the affected apps
- restarted the phone a few times
- refresh network settings in Android

The apps that don't work are: Google Nest, Amazon, Argos, Just-Eat, YouTube.

The apps that do work are: Gmail, Keep, Maps, Drive, National Rail Enquiries, Weatherspoon and many more. Weirdly enough, I can't get Just-Eat on my desktop PC either (connected to the same SSID).

If I turn wifi off on my phone, that forces it to switch to mobile data and the offending apps start working again. Except for Google Nest.

What should I be checking for in the router settings? The time is correct and is listed as GMT+1. The router itself is a HUAWEI H112-370.

Cheers guys.

Update: I can access the Nest from my desktop PC via Firefox (same SSID), so the Nest is still linked up to the router ok.

The issue seems to be between the router and the phone.

Thanks :)

It's an after-market router, so not tied down to an ISP.

Next thing I tried was running Nord VPN on my desktop PC and that got around the Just-Eat issue. So I then installed it on my phone, and everything is working again. I think the idea of a VPN is that it gives you a different DNS server which is getting me around the router's block.

This means that the block must be somewhere in the router. I don't think it's parental though because I was able to access gambling sites ok (William Hill and Video Slots).
