A Screen that won't destroy my eyes..

I have a Hyundai ImageQuest X71S 17" LCD Monitor (I think) and I bought it about two years ago. Since I have been using it I have noticed a deterioration in my eyesight, whether this is coincidence I don't know. However, now I am required to do a lot more work on the computer, I have noticed even more degrading of my eyes.

When I go on holiday for a few weeks, my eyes rapidly go back to normal. I'm convinced its this screen I'm using, no other screen I have used for prolonged periods before has ever made my eyesight get worse.

Can anyone recommend a screen that they have been using for a while, and hasn't noticed themselves becoming short sighted?

Just on the eyesight thing, 17" 1280*1024 screens have quite a small pixel size, so maybe text is too small on it to read comfortably. 19" 1280*1024 and 22" 1680*1050 have quite a bit bigger pixels so maybe that's the way to go.

Just change font size in ie or firefox settings
