I was wondering if a PSU would go prob. free on the side, fan facing the side vent? Have to put it above the side of the MB. Be awesome to fit a R9 5900X with that 6 inch cooler (wish this country went to metric when they tried). Silver stone has a case like that, but it is ugly.

I seriously doubt there's >64mm of clearance between a tower cooler and the side of the case. So unlikely with an SFX PSU. Flex might be possible though.

I know people have managed to squeeze an SFX PSU in the front of an SG13, allowing tower coolers to be installed. That may be possible in the SG05 as well. It's a smaller case though, so probably won't be as straightforward. You might find you need to mount the PSU higher, necessitating the removal of the drive cage (and maybe the use of LP RAM).

Depending on graphics card choice, would something like an HDPLEX DC-DC board do the job, with an external brick? That would free up a lot of space internally.

Hmmm, if I had Protocase copy it only make it 2.5 inches wider. I could sit the PSU on it's side opposite the GPU & have room for the Scythe Fuma 2 CPU Air Cooler.
