Anyone know if you can set the default opening folder for MP 11 in windows?

I know you can for recording but I havent seen one for playback, occasionally it sticks to the last folder in my huge music file - otherwise it defualts back to some innocous folder

Do you mean the folder from where media player gets the library from?

Or have i misread your question?

noooo - when you go to file...open to select an album / track how do you select which folder MP automatically defaults to first? (mine always opens up to Computer>Local DIsc>Program Files>WMP when I would like it to open always where my music is stored)
