Scenario: Friend is going travelling in a couple of months time and they are going to be away for many months all over the world. They want to document/update their trip as they go so people can see what/where/when etc and see photos as well.
Solution: I suggested that rather than rely on not losing a memory card for the entire trip or having a camera stolen at hostels etc, it would be a good idea to upload the photos as he goes every few weeks as and when he gets a chance. Is there a simple "website" I can build that literally has a user name and password sign on to allow ftp? uploads of several files at once. i.e. He would be able to upload many files at once easily and quickly and put a quick message on there?
What would be the easiest way to do this? I was thinking of making an ftp server possibly?
