A Simple Windows IRC Daemon?

I set up a windows ircd a few years ago, the best software i could find at the time with working services was beware ircd and using their old style services it really did look and feel like you were connecting to one of the big well known ircd's, its a very small program and has no user interface or tray icon, it just needs to be configured by editing the conf file and then run it, connect to it using an irc client and test that everything is working, I checked the website and the software is still being updated (as of december 2011), i havent used the software myself or irc for that matter for a few years but it may be worth a go. just google beware ircd if your interested to check/test it out.
