OK, so I am going to spend about £600 upgrading my machine.

It is out of date using a Dual core E8400 CPU.

The things I can carry over are GPU, Sound card, case, PSU, HDD's.

What I am after is Mobo, Ram and CPU.

I have knocked up a shopping list on OCUK and was wondering, how do I do the really tidy copy of it?

Woop! It worked.

Anyway, the monitor is so I can drop the lame 19" jobby and have 2 identical monitors, and the Control is so I can sit a distance from PC with feet up playing FIFA. how does it look?

My PSU is an Antec 720 IIRC and the GPU is a nice MSI Hawk Talon Attack 460GTX (using the Gelid cooler)

Ivybridge CPU, uses less power than sandybridge and has a much better IGP.

I have kept your choice of mobo (with the integrated wifi), the Z77 allows you to OC the i5K and it's lucid MVP will use the IGP to boost the performance of your 460 GPU, intel quick sync will use the IGP to boost video encoding tasks if the software supports it.

The RAM you have chosen isn't low profile. In short you will struggle to fit aftermarket air cooling heatsinks over it. So i have used LP RAM at the best price possible.

Hope this helps
