Please can someone help me make an image thats got a transparent background ?

I tried myself but failed, and this is all i could make....
logotransparent1mq2.gif

It just needs to say MXMadness.co.uk and have a clear background. Same size as above.
Dont hold back on making the text all fancy yet easy to read :D
Its for a new website being built.

Thanks allot peoples,
Ryan

That has a transparent background.

So what's wrong with that?

EDIT: Just out of interest whereabouts is the Stevenage MX circuit? I din't realise it had one.:)

Sorry yes it is transparent but the quality of the text is well.. pathetic :P and hard to read.

Stevenage is a club not a track. They race all around south easy england.

Anyone ? Pretty please.

I just want something thats clear but the text is good quality and easy to read.
Thanks

Save as a PNG mate, not a GIF, then you'll be fine :)

Or you can cheat and mate it pseudo-transparent - just make the background the same colour as the page.

Also make sure that you set the 'matte' colour correctly (the background colour) as you can then anti alias the text properly - that will make a huge difference.

It applies mainly if you are saving as gif. When you do the 'save for web' the matte colour will show up on the preview window. Try it with the matte set to a few different colours and put them all on a webpage of the same background colour. You'll soon see what I mean....
