A small step to the right

Hello people i have a quick question [ati 1 gig 5850]
Ive read a few comments on upgrades on here concerning my card

was looking at this
HIS ATI Radeon HD 6950 IceQ X PLUS Edition 2048MB
now im basing this on my card being worth about £85
and punting the games for around £40
would only be an £80 upgrade

or any other ideas please

Not worth it, especially with the next gen cards around the corner that are leaving moving on from the dated 40nm process onto 28nm process.

I'm waiting for 7950 2GB or something along that line, and so should you. Going from a 5850 1GB to a 6950 2GB is like going from 5850 1GB to a slightly faster 5870 with slightly more overclocking headroom and with more VRAM.
