a software that will sort out 23GB data to fit DVDs?

hi guys

got 23GB (2500 files) to backup to DVDs but i need a software that will sort of the files to fit X of 4.7GB DVD's. to me make my job easier

WinRAR can split archives by size, that might work. A simple AWK script would be able to do it though.

dont want to compress the files, must be able to read from DVD

Can't you just select 4.7gb worth of files and burn those?
