A Spec me thread please

Hi all,

I would like to use some of you in the know for a spec me thread. Looking at 1k for Case,PSU, CPU, RAM, Mobo and a 8800 graphics

Can anyone help as I'm a bit out of touch with the tech stuff, would also prefer AMD.

Sorry dont need anything other than whats stated, I will be chopping my old pc from a 500gb HD, DVD Writer + seperate DVD Drive + Audigy 2 zs + monitor + speakers + periphs.

I will be looking at buying vista for my parents soon so they will be paying for that

cheers again mate, i might look at getting a 30inch dell not sure yet will look at budget, will let you know closer to when i buy, will be the end of the month
