Im building a linux storage box - trying to go as cheap as possible.
As such I need:
4x SATA HDD's 200GB+ (likely 7200.10's as I need the sustained transfer too so unless your idea beats this...
)
Mobo - This MUST have 4xSATA tied to the PCI-E bus + Gigabit networking also tied to PCI-E bus (far as I know this means nforce 4+).
Processor for the above
RAM
In a small, cute case (though without breaking the bank - if you can get some form of shuttle etc type idea that can have the mounts etc built in then bonus).
Dont really need a graphics card (as will be using telnet/remote xwindows sessions) but something on there to get it to post happily.
This really doesnt need to be a powerhouse, just the key areas above.
