Has anybody ever had problems when rotating the screwdriver in their case? More specfically when the screws are relatively close to the wall/side of the case.
By problem I mean near the wall of the case more when you can't get enough leverage to tighten/untighten screws when the screw driver either isn't long enough or your hand is bigger than that of the person who screwed it in there in the first place?
The reason I ask this is a couple of months ago I dismantled an old Pre-built Dell that had been sitting in the loft for a couple of years (2005 dell dimension) and I sucessfully removed every component from within the case apart from the motherboard because of 3 really tight screws which were ridiculous and were hindering my efforts. I wasn't actually able to get the screwdriver 100% vertically inline with the screw and therefore was not able remove the screw.
How would I get around this issue in future builds? should I invest in an extra-long philips screw driver so that my hands are not in contact with the side of the case? Or is this problem nowadays rare with larger, more modern cases?
Cheers in advance.
