A strange request

A guy at work nervously asked me if I'd do him a favour today. His family are coming to pick him up from work; he described his car to me and requested that if I see it, I wave at his kids because they'd be "delighted to be waved at by a real pirate".

Sometimes life is so deliciously random, I can't quite manage all of it.

the beauty lies therein - I just dress normally (for me) to work! I think they see my stretch as a big ear ring, and the dreads just speak for themselves!

I'd completely forgotten about the Cardinal Richelieu thing - it made me laugh!

the only nickname I get now is Mick Hucknall and Pirate. Pirate is beating Mick Hucknall in frequency, though, because I really hate that.

Oh, Newton Faulkner I get, too. That was weird when I was at one of his gigs!
