Ok, So I am thinking of starting a review site, just a basic one. So I have attempted a quick review of a couple of lagers I have drank tonight.

1) Kronenbourg 1664

So, I wanted a full pint of the lager, so I opened 2 bottles. They gave of a nice calm 'ha-pa-tist' as they opened. Upon pouring in my specialy selected 'Beck's Vier Square Glass' with a 45 degree angle, I noticed it was not all that 'fizzy'. I thought..'Mmm'..The Kronenbourg had a nice colour and aroma to it, also topped with a very nice head.

I drank said lager, and was instantly taken to it, was my first time with Kronenbourg. Very nice flavor, very easy to drink, not too 'fizzy' and not flat.

2) Fosters

So, second pint, I opted for a can of Fosters. I drink it all the time in the pub as my favourate lager is a little too expensive on nights out.

The head was a complete failure, and using the same pouring method as before, produced too many bubble which subsided rather fast. Now I like this lager in the pub, quite nice, just easy and ok to drink. My lager was not, it has a flat taste, and tastes quite doughy. Not impressed.

3) Beck's Vier

Well, up last, my 3rd pint (had a couple more after mind). Cracked open 2 bottles again, and drank what didn't fit into the glass. Using the 45 degree method, the beck's poured very smooth and was near enough perfect. Had the perfect head when finished. Very impressed.

When I started to drink the Beck's, the most noticable thing was the crispy freshness, very nice. Nice colour and nice aroma aswell. Easy to drink, only gripe is, it's a little expensive on nights out, a bottle costing the same as a pint of fosters.

So, what do you think?

P.S. first time I have reviewed something, and I am little bit merry, had an excuse with the darts being on TV.

Next time I go out, I will buy some beck with 5%. but the 1664 is very nice :) I like.

And I am starting to wish my boss never bought me a 12 pack of fosters cans...tastes horrid compared to nice lagers :)

Ok, I would like to add something to this.

I tried a bottle of Corona Extra last night, it cost me £1.29 for a bottle from Bargain Booze. Very crisp and refreshing taste, slightly different from other lagers. Nothing special at all.

Also tried a bottle of Depserados, VERY VERY nice, comes in at £1.79 a bottle. It is 'beer mixed with Tequila' and tastes absolutely amazing. Lovely crisp refreshing taste, topped off with the hint of tequila in there. Very Very tasty drink.
