Hi I have been trying to track down a few old DOS games from my childhood recently with no luck and I was hoping someone might be able to help. I'm 33, so we are talking games that are 20-25+ yrs old here...

1. First one was a side scrolling 2d platformer with a Japanese/martial arts theme. It was rock hard, I never completed it, but it would be like a precursor to prince of Persia style games - I.e there were traps etc. I can't remember if it was CGA, EGA or VGA graphics... Not much to go on I know!

2. Second one was another platformer set in space. The graphics used a kind of red colour palette. I seem to remember having to start it in DOS using Mars.exe... There were around 20 levels. Again not much to go on.

3. The third one I got off the front of a magazine, you were some pacman type of thing and it was a computer/microchip theme. You had to eat microchips, flick switches etc and could "eat" under piles of things to make them collapse and clear paths through the levels...

Any help much appreciated!

Found 2 and 3, just by adding DOS into my search on Google. 2 is Monuments of Mars, 3 is Supaplex, which you can now get on iPhone! No idea about 1 though.

Nope, not first samurai or karateka I'm afraid, cheers though. I'd say it was pretty close to being as graphically basic as karateka though, but more of a platformer.

Monuments of Mars is on steam. Result.
