The 300 is a nice piece of kit, as many people would agree, but it just needs more cable tidying options, and little extras here and there. So I think I MIGHT start planning a project for one.
First (and only) Problem to tackle: Cable Management.
The option in the 300 is to leave all your tables hanging around the bottom, or hide them over to the side behind the hard drive bays. I personally think that's pants and messy. So quite simply, a hole by the PSU to put the cables behind. At least then you can hide it in that "hiding area" without a mess visible.
So it goes without saying the cables have to come back out. So where would the best place for those be? Well it seems that Antec were giving us clues with that "E" shaped bevel-y indent type thing. Two more holes, one for the 24pin Motherboard connector, the other for general cables you'd find all over the place (and also that big cutout where Antec expect us to hide cables).
I was thinking if I needed a cut-out for a HSF mounting plate. What do you guys think? It would cut a few holes out, I think. But whatever.
I could use a few of the excess holes for fastening cable ties to, but where there's necessity, more may need to be drilled.
And HERE IS A LOVELY (not) DIAGRAM.
Green - PSU
Red - ATX Mobo
Blue - mATX (I got that)
Fuchsia - General (5850, HDD, Optical Drive, Tuniq Tower fan controller)
Yellow - Connectors and things.
Black - Contemplated Holes. The one on the right is already there, not sure about the one on the left.
Only questions I have are what are the chances I'll need a 4pin CPU extension, and why don't OcUK have those?
I think I'll get two Enermax Clusters for the front fan intakes. They look brilliant(ly bright) in my opinion
As for the hard drive, I think I'll try a Bungee Mod for that. This old banger of a case I have right now is noisy as hell, and I want no more of it! Luckily a while back I bought some new shoe laces, for 10p a pair and NEVER USED THEM. So I get the choice of White, or Black(withpinkstripe) to suspend my drive on!

All of these are appreciated, thanks
