Did anyone catch this on TV last night? I think it was on BBC3.
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed it - all the characters were very well developed and the storyline really made you think about each and every event and its consequences.

For those who haven't seen it, it's based on a Grisham novel about a black man named Carl Lee, whose 10 year-old daughter is savagely raped by 2 white supremacist thugs and left for dead. Carl Lee then shoots the 2 men before their trials have begun. The film mainly follows Jake Brigance, Lee's defence lawyer as he handles the case and the controversy that goes with it.
One of the final scenes where the lawyers are making their closing statements is fantastically well shot and full of emotion - for me it almost rivals the later scenes of the Green Mile.
If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do. :)
