My D14 which I bought well over a decade ago just made my fourth build, this one an AM5 7600x.

Over the years Noctua has send me two free mounting kits. I also asked about some fan mounting brackets at some point, and they posted them out free.

It seemed extravagant at the time, but totally turned out to be amazing value.

Still have two D-14's. Just unbeatable value. Had replacement clips and fans sent for free.

I've never liked the beige colour fans but Noctua are top of my list when it comes to after sale service; beyond expectation to send out a LGA1700 for an old D14 I have, for free including postage! Simply brilliant.

There's just something about fitting a decade old cooler that likely has a load of dust that you can't blast out, on to brand new hardware.

I understand what you mean. Iv got some bits with that caked on dust its like mould and hard to get off. Soaking in ipa or using brake cleaner is supposed to be effective but iv never tried it.

My D14 looks almost the same as when I bought it but then I don't leave it so long before cleaning it.

I have cleaned others folks "never cleaned in ten years" D14's and you just need some kind of jet spray from a hose or finger over the end of tap etc and it cleans out all that stuck on dust inside the fins.

I've been a Noctua fan for years. Though do feel the fans are no longer in a league of their own, their competitors have caught up. I also noticed that many Noctua fan models now have annoying resonance "hum" from the motor (NF-F12, NF-A14 are the ones I noticed this on).

Also, with AIO pumps now having easy RPM adjustment, they can also be silent at idle, meaning the main Noctua selling point (silence) is no longer there. At load, high end GPU's are always going to be louder than a Noctua HSF or an AIO. Most also have coilwhine that'll be louder too.

I feel all Noctua really have left at this point is the value for money. Buy a heatsink and it'll last you for life, as Noctua will keep sending you replacement mounting hardware.

D14 cooling my OC'd 12700K like a champ. My entire build currently is Noctua Beige themed in a Black H510 Flow. It somehow works in it's own way...

Not visible are the two beige 140mm Noctua fans on the front of the case. Also the rear fan is a Redux because I didn't want to spend double on the AF model as I can't see it normally.

Also, yes that is an ARC GPU... :D

Noctua are the bees knees

always use them

currently got 2 180mm ones at the front of my case with 1 at the back for exhaust, also tried putting 3 above, but not needed in my case
