Demo is out now for a Vampyre story.

Its made by guys that used to work at Lucasarts, so it should be good, will give it a whirl tonight.

There's several companies made from ex-Lucasarts people from the good days.

I read about the game a while back, and I think it was said that the lead designers were designers on Monkey Island 4 and the Indy Infernal Machine action game, so at the time I figured those weren't great credentials in terms of coming from LucasArts. Looking at the developer's website there are some more games they claim experience from. http://www.amegames.com/about_us.htm

I'll try not to play down the potential of Vampyre Story, but I don't think saying that people from LucasArts worked on it means as much as if it were one of the more well known designers, say Ron Gilbert or Tim Schafer.

Well if the site is anything to go by, thats actually not a terrible back catalogue, Secret of Monkey Island for example

Does anyone know how to change the resolution, the demo just defaults to 1024x768.

I couldn't change the res, even after lookin in the conf file. I saw options (1024 768) but when I changed them to 1680 1050, there was no change.

I also couldn't see video (or hear them) so I've no idea who the cloak guy is. I did install DX from the installation, and rebooted too.

I've got it running in vista. Make sure you disable you second monitor if you're using one.

Works fine in vista for me, you can't change the res either, but it looks okay.

Adventure games you don't really change the res as they stick to one res and that's it.
