I am moving to a house for less than two years. It has no BT line installed, but a Virgin box, so it looks like it's Virgin I'm stuck with unless I want the expense and hassle of getting a BT line. (£124 + ADSL costs) At least with Virgin I can get basic cable TV free as part of the deal - its a bad reception area, so it must be cable or sat.

I guess Virgin only supply a basic cable-modem. I have a Netgear Wireless ADSL Router DG834GT. Can I plug the output from the cable-modem into one of the four LAN sockets on the Netgear box and expect it to work as a wireless router?

Or will I have to fork out for a cable wireless router? I have a hub if I choose to forgo wireless working, and I guess that would work.

And on the TV front - basic channels are free (the FTA/FTV channels, I guess) - but how do I get an input to more than one TV? Do I have to buy more boxes from Virgin?
