1) Do not wear a jacket with a zip whilst taking pics.

2) Do not let your camera hang round your neck constantly whilst wearing said zipped jacket.

3) Don't wait until zip on jacket scratches dSLR LCD. Buy an LCD protector now!

There are only light scuffs on mine but it was a big mistake spending £600 and not getting a protector at the same time for under £10. :(

What camera do you have? I'd imagine the plastic LCD cover will be able to be taken off and replaced by a decent repair company without too much hastle. Give Fixation an e-mail to see what they can do about it.

Sony A700.

I was really talking about the GGS protectors rather than the plastic strips.

The scuffs aren't massively noticable, only in sunlight when reviewing images. Thankfully, I don't have LiveView. That would have been annoying.

Ironically, it was me who asked about protective screens a while ago. The GGS ones were recommended then but I just hadn't got round to buying one.

Thanks for that diverse180. It'll come in useful.

Cheers Buff. As I said, its not massively noticable. Its lucky I saw it when I did really. :)
