Does anyone know if when you use the remote to transfer a mii you keep a copy on the Wii?

I ask as i'm going to a friends house this weekend and would like to take my Mii with me ;)

I'm assuming he doesn't have a wireless connection.

If not he could nip to McDs or something while you exchange them probably.

I doubt that the Wiimote actually stores the Mii, I'm guessing that the Wii itself just recognises a Wiimote's ID and links a stored Wii to that.

edit-Can you store Wii Sports data onto an SD card? that may be another way?

edit MK II- I think I may be wrong :)

Yup, my brother got his Wii last week, picked it up from my house. We transferred 4 or 5 Miis form my machine onto his Wiimote, then he transferred them to his machine at the other end.

Stores the Mii, but no associated data ie. Wii Sports scores

If you are bored you can synch your Wiimote with your PC and download Miis from places like Mii Plaza
