A Wordpress thread?

I've been using Wordpress for many years and I was wondering if it would be worth having a thread for people to help and advice with wordpress related issues?

I've done the usual searches but there's no one stop shop for asking questions, help with issues or even just showing off a new theme or plugin.

Feel free to delete if there's something already kicking about that I couldn't find.

I moved to wordpress from Modx a few years ago. I like the ease at which it could be setup and populated with content without any of the messing about I was used to.

Now as I come to do more and more with my sites I've grown increasing frustrated with wordpress and am using Modx again for all new builds.

I love WP but it can be quite a pain for setting up certain things... weird quirks in the system and templates that need to be squashed first.
