My nephews PC is only showing 1 core in Windows 10 X64. Is there a way to enable 4 cores?

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. search for
msconfig and run it as administrator navigate to the " boot " tab and on there select advanced options in there you can select number of processors! apply ok and restart!
Alright is the bios up to date?

OS corrupted, I'm guessing he could have messed with something and corrupt the registry.
Re - formatted and properly detecting 2 cores / 4 logical processors..
Oh the joys of being the guy that everyone comes to for PC stuff. Now I have the fun task of re installing all software / apps he wants lol.
I was only meant to be installing his bro's GPU, but then found PC was only using 1 core..
He also needed MBR drive to GPT to get full 3TB HDD, such fun for me![]()
I know its late int he day but it deff had chipset drivers installed?
Seen that happen on newer system when they are not installed...
