A2 error code asus motherboard

Hello, a few days ago my pc randomly turned off while i was using it and then refused to turn back on. Initially i thought it was the PSU so i replaced it but still wouldn't turn on. The motherboard green light turned on so i took it to a local shop. He told me the motherboard is faulty, even though the light turned on, other parts of it was still faulty or something along those lines.
I bought asus z87-pro to replace my faulty z87-A. I've installed it and now it boots up but I've run into other issues.

Firstly, when i boot up, after about 3 seconds it automatically shuts off and turns back on. Then i see red lights that are on and the error code "A2" appears on the motherboard. I'm not sure what to do now. I tried connecting to my monitor but nothing shows up.
asus z87A motherboard > now z87-pro.
I5-4670k
1080 Ti
8gb RAM
cooler 212 fan

Corsair TX-M Series 650 Watt 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU​

corsair carbide series 200r compact case
2nd picture is of the hdd, google says a2 has something to do with drives not being connected and in the picture you can see one wire connected that goes to the motherboard, and the bigger wire to the power supply. I even replaced the hdd > mobo wire incase it was faulty but still nothing changed.

Aka,take all connections apart and rebuild your pc to double check something wasn't loose/not fully connected.
