A50-Quick question

I bought a Corsair A50 about a year ago to cool a Phenom II system. As I plan on getting an Intel i5 2500 soon, would I be able to swap it over to the new setup ? It has fittings for Intel but wasn't sure if it would fit the new SandyBridge chips.

As long as it has the socket 1156/55 fittings you can happily re-use it, just clean the surface of it and apply new thermal paste.

Socket 1155 mounting is the same as 1156.

Yeap Stulid is correct! Infact I actually have an A50 cooling my i5 2500k right this very second
