A5600k at 250 degrees!

Just a quick one, does the 5600k shut down if it reaches temps that are too much? A glitch in my MSI mini ATx board has the CPU temp at 250 degrees so the fans are flat out. Surely that can't be right as hwmonitor says 50 degrees.

Obviously it's not right, Is the base of your cooler belching out smoke and smelling rather nasty? If not, it's AMD's naff temp sensors hard at work

It'd be more accurate to use a blueberry muffin to check your temps then AMD's sensors!

Any idea what I can do about the CPU fan being stuck on full whack though as the mono thinks its overheating? BIOS is updated.
