A620 boards - any good?

Looking at this board to pair initally with a 7600X cpu and 32Gb of the Teamgroup 6000Mhz RAM and my existing 4080.

I run at stock so cant see any issues with it? Worth the £50 saving over a B650?

Will eventually put a 7800X3D in there

You can also get the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI for the same money mite be worth a comparison and both have 2 X m2 slots

£170 gets you to the Gigabyte AMD Ryzen B650 GAMING X A with 3 m2 slots same as the b650 tuf.

From what i can see its about £220 on a 650E based board.

Even the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WIFI which is a possible 2nd choice its not got gen 5 slots

Not worth imo but only time will tell

I would say you will be fine as long as the A620 board you choose has a decent enough VRM to cope with the X3D chip. I am currently using an A520 board and it is superb.

I was about to order the A620 TUF, but noticed the B650 TUF has come back into stock so ordered that instead

I am very happy with Asrock b650 HDV which I bought for £100. Its all you need for AMD build:
-decent vrm
-good ram overclock
-pcie 5 ssd
