So while doing more searching for a suitable camera for video I think I've found the A6300 as the best price/features/performance sub £1k

It offers 4k @ 30 fps, 1080 @ 120fps (perfect for slow mo)
Has a microphone input
Allows filming/photos whilst charging

Is there anything better with the same features ? For similar price

I think the A6300 has issues with over heating during video recording. The A6500 addressed this issue or was at least far better. Yes, it costs more but I guess you don't want to miss shooting due to the camera getting too hot.

Smallrig camera cage fixes that by acting as heatsink and also frame to mount some active cooling ;)

Probably not what you’re after, but I just got the a6000 and it’s great :)

I originally had my eye on this, but due to the lack of mic input I decided against it which is a shame as it's cheaper but I figure years of not having to sync audio to video is worth the extra price for the 6300

I've got the G80 with the 12-60. Great choice.

Get yourself the 25mm 1.7 - super cheap, sharp, great for video. Just be prepared to manually focus with shooting with this camera as the AF can be janky.

In terms of a strap, the Peak Design Slide Lite works well.

I've seen Peak design recommended in a few vids, is Peak Design SL-BK-3 Slide not worth the extra few quid over the lite ?

And 25mm do I go for the £80 cheap 7 artisans version or the £115 grey import panasonic ?
