a64 3800+x2 multi??

is there anyway to unlock the a64 3800+x2 (939) multiplier so i can get its up to 11x or 12x. just wondering as i have seen someone do it on another forum???

IIRC Some people managed it with the Opterons but that was purely by accident.

They didn't clear the BIOS Properly and it allowed a upwards Multi change, but the next time they cleared the BIOS it was Upwards locked

was in no way an exact science though.

There is not set method, its all luck and very very high odds that it happens
